A company in Canada is looking to capitalize on the perpetual smog blanketing cities in China by selling Chinese citizens “hand-bottled mountain air.”
The company, known as Vitality Air, is packaging air from Canada’s Rocky Mountains. A 7-liter bottle costs about $25.00.
The company says it’s seen demand soar in China. “We shipped a sample of 500 [bottles] to China…they sold out within a week-and-a-half,” company founder Moses Lam told Global News.
