The US House of Representatives has approved a measure that would lay the groundwork for repealing the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). The Senate approved a measure on Thursday that would allow for repeal without the threat of a Democratic filibuster.

According to Reuters, the resolution passed on Friday instructs committees of the House and Senate to draft repeal legislation by a target date of January 27.
