High-Oxygen Mask
The Hi-Ox80 from VIASYS Healthcare, Respiratory Technologies, Yorba Linda, Calif, is an oxygen delivery system with a disposable mask capable of delivering more than 80% oxygen at 8 lpm. This technology was designed to meet the infection and nausea reduction needs of postoperative patients. Sleep Apnea Treatment Device
Respironics Inc, Murrysville, Pa, introduces C-Flex™, a positive pressure treatment for obstructive sleep apnea. C-Flex allows patients to take the work out of exhalation, thereby providing a more comfortable treatment. The device tracks the patient’s breathing to lower the amount of pressure delivered during exhalation. Respiratory Conference
Focus Publications presents the third annual FOCUS on Respiratory Care & Sleep Medicine Conference for respiratory therapists, nurses, sleep technologists, and physicians on April 10-12, 2003, at the Opryland Hotel, Nashville, Tenn. Carbon Monoxide Monitors
