Southmedic Inc, the Barrie, Ontario-based medical device manufacturer and distributor of surgical specialty products, has formed a distribution partnership with San Diego-based SeQual Technologies Inc, makers of oxygen generators and air-dryer systems.
SeQual Technologies will assist Southmedic in promoting and selling its oxygen products. Southmedic products will be sold on SeQual Technologies’ Web site to individual, long-term oxygen therapy end-users. In addition, SeQual Technologies’ Alternate Care Sales organization will sell Southmedic products in several different markets, including skilled nursing facilities, US Department of Defense, and pulmonary rehabilitation facilities. The products will also be sold in the European home care market.
