3B Medical will release the Luna II CPAP system on October 1, 2018.

The Luna II will include new product improvements including MyPatientWatch, an intuitive and easy to use advanced patient management portal with patient exception reporting.
In addition, the Luna II has bolstered wireless connectivity options. Leading the technology curve, 3B Medical is adopting both NB Iot and LTE Cat M1.
“All major cellular networks are phasing out 2G and 1X CDMA within the next 12 months which may leave providers up in the air with patient compliance reporting when those technologies sunset,” said Angela Giudice, 3B Medical’s Director of Clinical Education. “3B wanted to be ahead of the technology curve and is the first PAP manufacturer to adopt leading edge M2M technology across the board that will extend cellular coverage to even remote and difficult to reach geographies.”
