Alere Connect, Qualcomm Life, and Preventice ranked one, two and three respectively in ABI Research’s latest “Remote Patient Management Platforms” Competitive Assessment. The study assessed remote patient monitoring platforms that connect to wearable wireless-enabled healthcare devices across criteria placed in two broad categories: Innovation and Implementation.
The results of this vendor matrix reflect the transition taking place in this market. By and large the companies that scored highest in the Innovation segment did less well in the Implementation segment and vice versa as the market shifts from vertically integrated platforms and devices to more open platform offerings.
