Hans Rudolph Inc, Kansas City, Mo, introduces the 5560 Series DLco Simulator with EasyLab QC™ software.

The device measures the diffusion lung capacity of patients during drug delivery trials for available inhaled insulin technologies.

Additionally, the company offers the Series 1120 flow/volume simulator for testing; teaching respiratory therapists; and calibrating peak flow meters and spirometers; and doing research requiring the ATS and custom-breathing waveforms. The Series 1101 breathing simulator is similarly designed for testing and training and calibration of ventilators and other respiratory therapy devices.

All three simulators are demonstrated at the company headquarters in Shawnee, Kansas, and at the ATS and ERS congresses each year.
