US News & World Report has released its 2017-18 Best Hospitals rankings, awarding the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minn) the top overall spot on its “Honor Roll.” In pulmonology, National Jewish Health was ranked #1, followed by Mayo Clinic (#2) and Cleveland Clinic (#3).

This is the 28th year that US News has issued the rankings, which compare more than 4,500 medical centers nationwide in 25 specialties, procedures, and conditions.

This year a total of 152 hospitals were nationally ranked in at least one specialty, including Pulmonology, Cardiology & Heart Surgery, Cancer, Diabetes & Endocrinology, Ear, Nose & Throat, Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, Geriatrics, Gynecology, Nephrology, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, Rheumatology, and Urology.
