Impact Instrumentation Inc, Caldwell, NJ, offers the Ultra-lite™ Model 326 portable intermittent aspirator. Built around Impact’s Ultra-Lite™ vacuum pump, the unit is capable of providing clinical suction for a wide range of procedures including oropharyngeal, tracheal, wound drainage, and abdominal or thoracic decompression procedures. The unit is powered by either external AC or DC power or internal rechargeable batteries for up to several hours of transport or emergency backup support. Additional features include vacuum adjustable continuous and programmable intermittent suction modes; and aeromedical-use certification (EMI/RFI). The unit also is equipped with battery capacity meter, dual collection canister brackets, and wall/pole mounting bracket interface and carrying handle. Available with 800 or 1,200 mL disposable collection canisters or 1,000 mL reusable canisters. The unit is 9.5″ wide x 11.5″ high x 4.84″ deep and weighs just 12 pounds. Battery pack included.
