The MED Group, a Managed Health Care Associates Inc (MHA) company, announced yesterday that it has added a ventilator program to its MED Supplies Network Web site. The program was created to help health care professionals coordinate care of complex respiratory patients needing ventilation products and services by identifying MED member providers to care for their patients.
The Ventilator Program Web site will now offer information about home medical equipment, including oxygen therapy, complex respiratory, mobility, and general homecare needs. The Web site also includes a tool to locate durable medical equipment (DME) providers who are bid winners within the recently implemented Medical Competitive Bidding Program for Durable Medical Equipment.
The MED Suppliers Network was created in 2010 to assist health care professionals, consumers, and caregivers in identifying independent DME providers in their area to provide services in the home.
