National Respiratory Care Week, sponsored by the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), takes place October 25-30, 2009. This year’s theme is Respiratory Care: There When You Need Us. According to the AARC, this year’s theme highlights the fact that respiratory therapists work in a wide variety of locations.
The AARC is encouraging respiratory therapists to host spirometry screening events in the communities they serve.
