ResMed Corp, San Diego, introduces the S9™ Series of flow generators for patients using continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy.
The S9 Series includes Enhanced AutoSet™ and Easy-Breathe algorithms which can differentiate between obstructive and central sleep apneas. ResMed added a humidification system with Climate Control that adapts to the patient’s real-time environmental conditions. The S9 Series’ new SlimLine™ tube design reduces tube drag.
In addition, the S9 Series has a quieter motor to limit sleep disruption and a new stylish design with user-friendly controls.
The S9 provides clinicians with detailed data reporting. A complete S9-compatible wireless compliance management package also is available to improve customer service between ResMed and users.
