The SupplyDirect Drop-Ship service from Philips Respironics, Murrysville, Pa, ships orders placed by physicians directly from the warehouse to the patient. The company recently updated the service in a few ways.
Starting September 14, providers who login to the My.Respironics Web will be able to use the following new features:
1. Save patient data: This feature allows providers to save patients’ demographic information to use for future orders.
2. Look up patient order: This new feature will allow providers to search for a patient’s previous orders using the name/address that was saved. All order fields will be pre-populated through the information provided during a previous order. Orders can be edited.
3. Supply replacement notifications: The new Supply Replacement Reminders page shows reminders of when a patient is due for replacement supplies in date order. Reminders can be deleted or postponed.
4. Signature required for delivery: For an additional fee, the delivery driver will collect a signature from someone at the delivery address before they release the package. This fee is subject to change annually, based on the carrier’s fee schedule.
