ITC, Edison, NJ, manufactures and distributes the IRMA TRUpointTM blood analysis system. IRMA TRUpoint performs immediate and reliable tests right at the patient’s side. It easily measures blood gases, hematocrit, electrolytes, and other chemistries in the OR, NICU, ICU, CCU—or wherever the patient may be—so critical treatment decisions can be made without delay. IRMA TRUpoint utilizes electrochemical sensor technology with an interactive touch screen that easily guides the user through the test procedure. On average, patient results are available in less than 90 seconds by way of single-use test cartridges. Each cartridge is self-calibrating, requires no additional reagents, and is stored at room temperature. IRMA TRUpoint is completely self-contained and portable and features an onboard printer, data management system, and connectivity.
