The new FlowScreen® from VIASYS Healthcare Inc, Yorba Linda, Calif, measures and evaluates inspiratory and expiratory lung volumes including pre and post measurements. Flow-volume and volume-time curves are displayed real-time. User-friendly operations are made available via the color-coded function keys, and the high-resolution inkjet printer provides color reports on normal paper. European Respiratory Society and American Thoracic Society criteria are used for quality assurance, and the robust database can administer more than 1,000 patients.
