Maxtec Inc, Salt Lake City, introduces the new EyeMax™ phototherapy mask used in the NICU. This product has been designed to be fully adjustable, ensuring a perfect fit on every patient. The band, made from a nonwoven latex-free material, ensures eye protection from ultraviolet light, and securely holds the eye pads in place. The soft pads protect the patient’s eyes from harmful ultraviolet light, while the band material provides total patient comfort and allows the light to penetrate to the head during therapy.
