Philips Respironics has released a new gel pillows mask called the Nuance. The device is the industry’s first and only gel pillows mask for treating sleep apnea, according to the company.
Key features of the Nuance include an all-fabric frame and headgear designed to enhance patient comfort. Its gel-padded frame holds the mask in place during sleep and reduces the need for re-adjustment, according to Philips.
The new gel pillows conform to different size nostrils for ease in fitting and replacement parts.
According to Philips, surveyed patients rated Nuance higher than other leading pillows masks in key compliance areas, including ease of assembly, ease of use, and reduced nostril irritation.
Philips takes its commitment to better sleep further with an integrated approach to sleep management including resupply service provided with every mask.
