• The Difficult Airway Course: Anesthesia™ — Designed for Anesthesiologists, Nurse Anesthetists and Anesthesiologist Assistants. Approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and AANA CE credits. An optional, pre-course Lung Separation Workshop is available to registrants of The Difficult Airway Course: Anesthesia™

The Difficult Airway Course™ is an intensive, 2½ -day CME program featuring a world-class faculty of airway experts in a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Created by Ron M. Walls, MD, Michael F. Murphy, MD and Robert C. Luten, MD, these programs take participants through a procession of lectures, workshops, hands-on sessions and Code Airway™ stations that build a rock-solid foundation of airway knowledge and skills.

Participants are taught how to predict difficulty, manage the difficult airway and rescue a failed airway using a myriad of proven airway devices. The courses cover flexible fiberoptic intubation; awake intubation; video laryngoscopy; extraglottic devices, cricothyrotomy; techniques for pediatric, obstetrical, and obese patients and more.
