Respironics, Inc, Murrysville, Pa, launches its new PerforMax™ face mask. The noninvasive ventilation (NIV) interface is designed for multiple uses.
The PerforMax™ features an interchangeable swivel elbow for compatibility with a variety of ventilators. The mask seals around the perimeter of the user’s face where pressure sensitivity is reduced and facial contours are smoother.
“The PerforMax™ addresses several previously unmet customer needs: two sizes fit most patients… and the setup is quick and simple,” says Vance Wilson, Senior Market Manager for Respironics’ Critical Care Business Unit.
The PerforMax™ mask is the newest addition to Respironics’ Performance Series™ product line, including multiple masks and accessories.
