Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System in Salinas, Calif, has earned 2015 Quality Respiratory Care Recognition from the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC).

The American Association for Respiratory Care developed the QRCR in 2003 to help consumers identify facilities using qualified respiratory therapists to provide respiratory care. About 700 hospitals or approximately 15 percent of the hospitals in the United States have received this award.
