PARI Respiratory Equipment, Midlothian, Va, launched two updated continuing education classes, bringing the company to a total of seven free classes for respiratory therapists, nurses, case managers, and pharmacists. The classes are designed as group programs that are pre-approved for continuing education units by the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC), the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), the Florida State Board of Nursing, and the California State Board of Nursing.

PARI has been offering free continuing education classes for licensed respiratory professionals since 2002. The two updated programs include "Case Management and COPD" and "Respiratory Drug Update."

"Each year, we continue to see more and more children and adults suffer from respiratory problems. As treatment regimes grow and evolve, it is imperative for respiratory professionals to continue learning and reinforcing key knowledge about treatment regimes, new patient education programs, and ongoing disease management. We are pleased to provide free continuing education units, so that this process can continue without adding a financial burden to these critical care providers," says Geoff Hunziker, president of PARI.
