According to an article from CBC News Canada, former students of the now-suspended respiratory therapy program at College of North Atlantic are speaking out about their experiences at the program, calling out a learning environment of “emotional abuse.”

The Council on Accreditation for Respiratory Therapy Education dropped accreditation for CNA’s respiratory therapy program in June after it was put on probation in 2016.

The CBC News article says that a report filed during the probation period documented concerns over the emotional safety of students and unprofessional behavior by an instructor.
